Information About Our Mustang Sheet Metal Parts
These sheet metal parts
are paint rejects or items that were damaged in handling at the
Mustang plant. These parts can be used with minor repair, refinishing,
etc. Ford does not have time to stop the line to make these kinds
of repairs. They just grab another part and keep the line going.
Most of the body parts we sell are used for exterior updating such as COBRA
and GT conversions and as replacement panels for racing purposes such as
SCCA racing. Some parts are used on damaged street vehicles.
PLEASE NOTE that as these parts are removed from cars on the assembly line
before they receive VIN numbers they have no vin stickers on them, they
do not have R dot stickers either as they were intended for use on new
cars not as replacement parts. Rebuilders of salvage cars MUST be aware
of your state's laws regarding replacement of major parts (hoods, fenders,
and bumpers) in salvage vehicles.
Body parts are for off road use and/or where allowed by federal law.
